2. On the Manage tab, select Manage Apps & Device.

4. When an update for Cash App is available, tap Update.

Clear The Cache Data

1. Initially, go to Settings on your Android Phone and select About phone.
2. You can now check for updates by opening System Update and clicking Check for Updates.

Update Google Play Store

If Google Play Store is outdated, then its incompatibility with other OS modules or apps (including Cash App) will prevent the Cash App from working. Google Play Store is not just an installation utility; it does many background operations to keep things running smoothly. The Cash App might be fixed if the Google Play Store is updated to the latest build.

1. Open Google PlayStore and tap on your image.
2. Go to Settings and select About.
3. Once an update is available, tap on PlayStore Version and let it install. There may be no need to download an update if no update is available.
4. Restart your phone after updating the Google Play Store, then open the Cash App to test if it works.

Reinstall the Cash App

Still no luck? Don’t worry! We have one last fix for you. Yes, if you are still getting the Cash app not working issue, you have to reinstall it and log into it again. This will help your device to run the Cash app without getting any kind of error. So, you must do so using these steps:

1. Open the Application Manager (Apps or Applications) in the Settings of your Android phone.
2. Select Cash and press Force Stop. After that, confirm that you want to force-stop the application.
3. Next, open Storage and select Clear Cache.
4. Next, select the Clear Data/Clear Storage button from the Cash App, and confirm clearing the app’s data.
5. Hit the back button, then tap Uninstall.
6. You can reinstall Cash once you have uninstalled the app. You will need to restart your phone after uninstalling Cash.
7. Upon installation, launch the Cash App, and hopefully, the issue will be resolved.
