I did all of this and nothing worked. Very frustrated. I traded in my iPhone 8 Plus for a new iPhone 13 Pro Max because my iPhone 8 voicemail function stopped working, despite my trying all these steps to get it to work.
Just 2 days into my new iPhone 13 Pro Max, after setting up my voicemail and password and custom greeting, the voicemail took 3 messages, and then stopped working altogether. I tried all these measures again, and nothing worked.
Let me know if you have any suggestions, other than dropping ATT, which is what I should have done the first time.
