Force Quit The Netflix App
If you cannot use the Netflix app on your iPhone/iPad, you should try force quitting the app and then using it again. To do it, follow the steps given below-
- Open the app’s preview screen on your iPhone/iPad by swiping down from the screen to the center. If you are using iPhone 8 plus or earlier models or an iPad with the home button, you can double-press the Home button to open the app’s preview section. If
- Now swipe the Netflix app to force quit it.
- After doing so, run the Netflix app on your phone again. You should be able to use the Netflix app now.
Restart Your Device
If force quitting the app doesn’t work, then you should try restarting the device. Restarting your device can also help solve the issue with the app if it is caused due to some random bug in the system. Restart your device, and then try running the Netflix app again.
Enable Airplane Mode And Then Disable It

- You will be asked to enter the passcode of your device to continue ahead.
- Next, you will be asked to confirm resetting the network settings. Tap on Reset Network Settings to confirm it.
Update The System
You may face the issue due to random bugs in the system. In such a case, you should try updating the system, and the issue will be fixed. Given below are the steps to update the iOS-
- On your iPhone/iPad, open the Settings app.
- Tap on the General option in the Settings app, and then click on the Software Update.
- Search for software update, and then tap on Install Now to update your device.
Uninstall And Reinstall Netflix App

- Firstly, delete/uninstall the Netflix app. To do so, press and hold down the Netflix app on your iPhone/iPad. Then tap on the X icon on the left side of the icon. You will be asked to confirm deleting the app. Tap on Delete to delete the app.

- Here search for the Netflix app. Install the Netflix app on your device.
- Open the Netflix app on your device. You will be asked to sign in to your account. Once you are done signing in, you will be able to use the app without any issue.
