There are two ways to boot your device to recovery mode, i.e., using the physical on the device or through the ADB commands. You can follow the steps below to boot your Galaxy S23/Plus/Ultra to recovery mode. 

Through Physical Buttons

The first and the easiest method to boot your Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra to recovery mode is through the physical. However, you will need a PC and a USB cable to continue. 

  • Press and hold the Power button on your phone. 
  • From the power menu that opens up, tap on Power Off and then on Power Off again to turn off your phone.

  • Press and hold the Volume Up and Power Button together until the Samsung logo appears. Leave the buttons as soon as you see the Samsung logo.

Another way to boot your device to recovery mode is through the ADB commands. Given below are the steps to do so-

  • Open the Settings app on your Samsung phone. 
  • In the Settings app, scroll down and tap the About Phone option.

  • Now, tap on the Software Information option.

  • Tap on Build Number 6-7 timesYou will now be asked to enter your device’s password/PIN. 
  • Once done, you will get a notification at the bottom of your screen saying, ‘Developer Mode has been enabled.’
  • Head to the main menu of Settings.
  • At the bottom of the Settings screen, you will see Developer Options; tap on it.

  • Download the SDK Platform Tools from here.

  • Press Windows + E together to open File Explorer and head to where the file has been saved. 
  • Right-click on the downloaded file and click on Extract All
