Actually, On 31st March 2017, Mukesh Ambani had announced the Jio Summer Surprise offer and he claimed to continues the Free 1 GB Internet with unlimited voice calls until June 30 Under Prime Membership.
Since the day Jio has launched, it has been a boon for every person who wished for free calls and the internet. However, since the deadline of this offer has met, you now need to pay for is services. Jio had come up with the three months complimentary benefits of Jio Summer Surprise a few days ago. But, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has notified Jio to withdraw the three months complimentary benefits of Jio Summer Surprise. This news was released by the company in a statement the statement also included that, jio has accepted this decision of the TRAI and it will withdraw the three months complimentary benefits of Jio Summer Surprise as soon as possible in the next few days.

The big relief for all the previously subscribed customers to this offer is that, they will be able to enjoy this offer but, no new subscribers will be accepted. Also, the jio prime members, when they make their first paid recharge before the 15th of April, 2017 using Jio’s Rs. 303 plan or any higher value plan, will be provided with the services for the initial three months on a complimentary basis. Talking about the paid tariff plan, it will be applied only in July, after the expiry of the complimentary service.

“Jio accepts the TRAI decision. Jio is in the process of fully complying with the regulator’s advice, and will be withdrawing the three months complimentary benefits of Jio Summer Surprise as soon as operationally feasible, over the next few days,” the statement added.
What Was The Jio 4G Summer Surprise Offer?
Under Jio Summer Surprise, all Jio Prime members making their first recharge payment of Rs 303 (or higher) plans got three months complimentary services in addition to the benefits of their purchased plan.
However, the Jio 4G company said: “All Jio customers who have subscribed to Jio Summer Surprise offer prior to its discontinuation will remain eligible for the offer.” – Said Reliance Officials
